This site gets a lot of guests and making the forums they want most unviewable will force them to register. I'm just talking about the cheated networks categories and bot makers mainly. Also will make it so the stuff we say in there isnt indexed by google.

If you put up a required post count, people will spam to reach it. That's a basic law of forums. What would you do if you came here for a bot you've been looking for and someone told you to post 10 times first. Would you wait for a few days until you had 10 constructive things to contribute? Or would you post 10 posts as inconspicuously as possible and go get your bot? It’s a no brainer.

Maybe you could make it so people have to be active members over a period of time. Like maybe 10 posts over a 2 week period? Idk.

How about being registered for more than 24 hours allows them to see more forums. Btw, Guest should only be allowed to see Announcements & Forum Discussions.

we can make a minimum of 30 characters per post, so they cant spam their way through and if they will type something like "loololololoololloololololoololloololololoolollool olololoololloololololoololloololololoololloolololo loolol" the post gets deleted and they get an infraction.

You should just make it mandatory for all to register to view any sections, thats how alot of groups do it.

This entire forum shouldn't be indexed by Google.
I remember when searching "m1crosoft r3t@il 3xpert z0ne" brought up us second or something like that.
Companies notice a lot faster... Dereferer is a good step, no indexing is a better one.

I know, I know, people can't find us, new people don't donate, site looses money, bot makers can't find us. But there's word of mouth and that's something.

At the LEAST, require some sort of time limit. I agree that the post count thing isn't great. At the most it should be 1 post just so there can't be any pure leechers.

I recall chewy saying something like that having a required post # would fill these fourms with spam and the time and resources put into deleteing these spam is not worth it.
