Those shoes are very light, durable, but also give you ankle support with the ankle strap. And just in case you ever want to play kicker, it has a good flat toe.

whatever you do, make sure you get the replaceable cleats. you do NOT want the ones that are molded. you need to be able to change the cleats depending on the field you're playing on.

I know. You kick with the side/top of your foot. I am one.

But the toe still needs to be flat.

below choose a size it says
Quote:
this shoe runs .5 size small.

we suggest you order .5 size larger than your normal shoe size.

but anyways i suggest that you just get a whole size bigger b/c your feet will grow, and to make sure they will actually fit.

I'm not sure where you are getting the flat toe. Most definitely not true. Most college kickers wear a soccer cleat on their kicking foot. Unless you are toeing it like an old timer the toe being flat won't help at all.

Soccer cleats have a flat toe.

Like pointy. It is pointy at the end? The shoe is almost flat?

Example:
Not Flat

More Flat (Football cleat I recommended)

Flat (soccer cleat)

Ah gotcha! I took it as a flat as in square toe, like the ol' toeballers used to wear back in the 70's and 80's! Sorry for the confusion!

As a side note, I've had 3 pairs of the Jets above and they worked really well for me since I don't need the extra support.
