no one denies for one second the yankees are talented. But it's a disgrace to baseball that one team is capable of buying the talent each and every year. Literally I would be embarrassed if I was a yankees fan, the ONLY reason you won is because of money. Literally about 3/4 of the lineup of the yankees is just talent bought from other teams. How can anyone be proud of that?

All the yankees did is what they were supposed to do. Now they'll go buy 3 more dominant players in their prime from other teams for way too much that other teams can't offer.

lol, you're right its easy to replicate the biggest market in all of sports and the most bandwagon bullshit fans. That's why he has money. People buy all the merchandise who can't name 5 people on the team other than the people everyone knows. And it seems like everyone buys those fitted yankee hats.

You're an idiot if you truly think it's fair that the yankees can spend all the money and other teams cant. That's why sports have this thing called a SALARY CAP. Baseball will never do it simply because they make alot alot alot of money off luxury tax.

I know it's not logical to think that a team can just "become the Yankees". I'm just suggesting that they look at what the Yankees do and try to apply it to their own situations. Look at the Mets, Cubs and Red Sox. They're all mediocre at best, but they are 2nd, 3rd and 4th on the list of the highest salaries in baseball. They have fans who buy into the product, which in turn brings in a lot of money.

i seriously hate bandwagon people, i went to the parade today and some lady tried pushing everyone out of the way to get in front, being me i didn't budge and she was yelling at me saying "she was there #1 fan", i turned to her and said can you name the entire lineup?

she went quiet...

I live in NY and I hate the Yankees (no offense OP or any other Yankees fans). Well not me so much as I don't really care much about baseball, but my husband really hates them.
When the Mets win a World Series, then we'll get a little excited. Yeah, the Mets suck but they're the underdog so I root for them.

Yeah, All I will say is that once your stacked and taking in the most money of all teams its not hard to win. Yes they are very talented but its because they have all the money in baseball and just buy up the talent before others can touch it.
