| Senior Member | I have a few questions, i want to install a few apps i have and share them with a team of mine. "friends" the thing is i dont want to had out the software to everyone so i want to make a server to host it all. i was wondering is Microsoft server what i need to do that? if so wut one should i use 2003 or 2008? can i install/run it in a virtual environment using Microsoft's virtual pc? thanks! |

Reputation: 9 ![]() | If they can't install the apps then you need to setup terminal services. As for 2003 or 2008 - if your PC has the muscle (dual core 2+ gig Ram) go with 2008 EDIT: this also means your PC has to be online whenever your friends need to run the application(s) |
