Reputation: 63   |  .bin files what do i need to read them. and i already went to justfuckinggoogleit.com and they suck. i need one for the final step of my second mms( i lost the 1st one). b4 system recovery, i could read bin files, because i had a program or something. please help. ill rep to some1 who helps. |

Reputation: 63 | im supposed to type something like this in cmd.exe: C:\Users\Home\Desktop\Temporary\TheUltimatePandora Pack\MakingPandoraBattery\MakingTheMMS\Manual-Install-Fat-or-Slim\PartC\msinst>msinst.exe X msipl.bin except my path to the folder: msinst. it almosts finished and then it says "can't open msipl.bin". i have no program to open it. thats why. b4 when i made my 1st magic memory stick, it worked fine, cuz i had a program. and when i go to the bin file myself after i click on it it says it windows cant open this file and asks to use prog from internet or select a program. i need a program that will open the bin file when i click on it. |

Reputation: 49 | CD Image Files .bin and .cue These are your standard images of a CD, and are used quite alot these days. To open them you have a couple options. You can burn them using Nero , FireBurner or Alcohol 120%, but this proves to be soooooooo problematic for a lot of people. You can also use Daemon Tools, which lets you mount the image to a "virtual cd-rom", so basically it tricks your computer into thinking that you have another cd-rom and that you're putting a cd with your image file on it into this virtual cd-rom, it's great cuz you'll never make a bad cd again. Alcohol 120% also sports a virtual cd-rom feature. Finally, if you're still struggling to access the files contained within any given image file you can use CDMage to extract the files and then burn them, or just access them from your hard drive. You can also use VCDGear to extract the mpeg contents of a SVCD or VCD image file such as bin/cue. From my guide http://cheatingnetwork.net/helpful_g...ownloaded.html

Reputation: 61 | you dont need a seperate program to open it, just make sure msinst.exe and msipl.bin are in the same directory.

Reputation: 25 | if it is a video, just drag and drop into vlc if it is a disk image, create a cue file and then mount using daemon tools/power iso/alcohol 120 or burn to disk create a cue by pasting the following in notepad (replaceing image.bin with the name of your bin) and save as the name of your bin.cue Code: FILE "IMAGE.BIN" BINARY TRACK 01 MODE1/2352 INDEX 01 00:00:00 |
