For some reason IE keeps on freezing everytime I open it, does anyone know whats wrong, Do I need to update it because I have never updated it for a while. I need IE for some programs, can anyone help me please.

That happened to me when I wanted to upgrade to IE7 so I downgraded it to the regular one IE6.

I dont think its a virus because I had the same problem before and I scanned the comp and it wasn't the virus, I have had this problem for a while, and that is why I use FF.

The best thing to do is go to Control Panel>Programs>Programs and Features, click on the internet program and click Repair or Change. This work for me when a program is not working or freezing all the time. hope this help

If you can use Tabs in IE then it's 7, if not then it's 6.

ok I will try that krackhead because it also freezes everytime I enter a site.

There's alway the uninstall and reinstall button.
