Ok so everytime i have Hobidys bot my Laptop will crash after a couple of games and i try to reinstall XP but it will just crash before i start.

What could be causing these crashes.

prolly your motherboard is shot....my dad is a computer seller/fixer/etc and I tried to reinstall and it gave a blue screen.....old motherboard just lost it so we got a new loaded computer

This happened to mine, i guess theres too much static electricity in the inside...what you have to do is decharge it.

while it IS OFF!
1) Take out AC power
2) Keep battery in and hold the power button for 1 minute
3) release, take battery out
4) Hold power button again for 1 minute

that will remove all power from the battery and decharge your laptop which should get all the static out.

Please tell me if this works.

Glad it worked

yeah my laptop had this, and then after i got through with it my hard drive corrupted i guess cause too much static built up and shocked my HD as it was leaving...so i had to send it in.
