Here is a Mac Guru at your service!

With parallels, you can install windows (any ver.) and run it perfectly within the Mac OS. I have been running this setup for years and always working perfectly. Since I have 2 monitors, one side is OS X, the other is Windows. Drag and drop from one screen to the other work perfectly. Just look at the preferences and your system configuration in parallels to set it up the way you will like. There is even a mode in Parallels that you can make your windows application look like it's running as any other standalone Mac apps. It's called Coherence mode. I honestly prefer full screen and having them side by side. Windows 7 also run perfectly on it with 1gb ram.

I use to run parallels in my Mac. I would be running Windows XP inside of Leopard. It ran some bots fine, but other type of programs I tried it didn't work that great. You might want to try VMWare Fusion since I hear it is a little better than parallels. If you don't like either then use bootcamp.

But when you run those you must choose them at bootup correct? I want to be able to just use bots on my mac.

If you're using Parallels or VMware Fusion you do not select them at start up. If you are using bootcamp you select that at start up.

When using Parallels or VMWare Fusion it is just an application you launch when you already have your mac on and everything and then it opens a new window and you can run your bots from there.
