Default Well this sucks...
Goal : Jailbreack an iPod Touch.

Problems:
  • I have 3 ubuntu computers and only one windows computer
  • the windows computer sucks ass
  • I had to install .NET framework 3.5
  • to install .NET i need to install XP SP2
  • To install XP SP2 i need a valid serial number

I need to:
1. Use a registry editor to put a genuine serial number on my old computer
2. Install XP SP2
3. Install .NET framework 3.5
4. Install QuickPWN
More problems to come...

It is actually easier to install an XP virtual machine on my ubuntu than to do all of that

There are many, MANY ways to install Service packages without windows validation. Go google them. If you're so 'bored' about it......

Just download an XP SP3 ISO and install with that. It'll have the service pack already installed saving you alot of time if you don't mind reformatting.
