Anyone know how to do this? Right now I just use camtasia to record me watching the video and then save as animated gif. Is there an easier way?

I'm pretty sure Photoshop does it. It depends what file format the video is though.

Wait, I don't think Photoshop can... do that. Try Flash Professional, if you have that. Or just search Google for whichever video format it is to animated .gif converter.

Found one but no free if you know what I mean, also photoshop can make animated gif's but not from videos.

yeah you can make one with photoshop ill look for the tut it will turn out to be something like this...
