Sorry guys for asking such a noob question but I never do it before

How did you guys do it using the banners from the site and put the referral link in there so when people click it will go to the register page?

please help

Simple as that. Put the referral link where it says to and the URL for the image in the other spot. But without the space in front of the firs "url"

yea you just go to Cp and on the left side just hit edit sig. and click on it

Most sites have bbc code you can copy and paste and thats all you have to do.
