Default 32 bit programs in a 64bit Windows

I'm working on a friends laptop and he has an AMD 64 bit processor and has Windows Xp 64-bit. I need to run a program to help fix his computer, but the program was made for 32 bit systems. Does anyone have any solutions for this?

Thanks,
bounty762

AFAIK, this is impossible...You can try to find an alternative that will run in 64bit OS. Also maybe you could find a linux alternative and boot from a live CD to run it. Then just switch back to XP...

I've been running XP x64 for almost 4 years now, 32-bit programs will work fine. The problem comes when you try to run 16-bit programs.

BTW, which program are you trying to run?

Yeah, 32-bit applications should run fine in 64-bit XP..

As said above, 16-bit is where it chokes.
