I've been trying to return Office to idk, 20 stores? This is tiring me out. Plus the awesome thing is that I live 80 miles from Staples.

Ok, so I basically want you to return this shit, and get it out of my life. You keep 40% of whatever is on the gift card including taxes. You cover shipping back. I cover the shipping to you. I'll give you 2 weeks. You must have at least 20 rep, and never had any negative feedback.

So, if you decide to do this, that's about $170 for you.

It is 100% brand new, as I somehow managed to exchange the one I got from CL with a brand new one at Office Depot.

Please please get me out of my misery.

sbl03, just curious, when you exchanged it for a brand new one at office depot did you receive a receipt, or exchange slip? If so then it would be considered a receipt return and you could get it returned in full, AS LONG as you have the receipt from when you first got it exchanged for a new one.

It's because I was trying to return Flight Sim X DLX with my mom and the biatch at walmart wouldn't give us a GC like the other woman from the day before so we exchanged it for another game (Mass Effect) and they gave us a receipt, and my mom returned it the next day with the receipt.

EDIT: Vieto your idea would not work because on the receipt it said he exchanged an Office for an Office...

Try the exchange first, there shouldn't be any problem returning an item by an exchanged receipt. All you have to say is the first one was damaged so you exchanged it for a new one, but now the person you were going to give it to for a gift already got it so you need to return it and pick out something new for them at a later time.

It doesn't matter, I DID IT, and I got cash, the only problem with the first item was that they aren't sure whether or not it's theirs, thus, another item in their inventory to sell and they make no profit. Once it's exchanged they know it's an item from them and it doesn't say much about the original return, maybe it had a crack in it's case. The person you are dealing with at the moment doesn't know. and

The person you are dealing with doesn't know the first return was non receipt.

Thus you are able to get cash and return it for sure.

It wouldn't make sense to say it wouldn't work if it's worked to me which is the only reason i said it in the first place.
