I'm offering a Wii Modding service.

Right now, it'll be free base cost, you just pay shipping both ways. At least until I start getting more people.

Specifics:
-I'll do a softmod, unless you specifically ship me the modchip too, and I'll only install the homebrew channel.
-If you want any Apps, such as ftpii or the Backup Loader, installed you also need to include a Kingston or Sandisk SD card with your Wii

EDIT: First person get's it at free base cost. From there on it'll go up to $7 a mod.
EDIT2: I have a PAL version of Twilight Princess. I can mod ANY Wii now.

Since I don't know a whole lot about

modding, do you need to update firmware often and does it require opening the

to do so?

Softmod doesnt require opening it.

You do not need to update the firmware unless a new Game is released that requires a new firmware. But even then, the ISO can be patched down to an earlier version and will still be able to be played.

Softmodding does not require opening of the Wii. Hardmodding does.

lol they could. Of course some people like to have other people do it so they can blame someone else if they screwup.

It's so easy, I already have a twilight princess hacked wii. I only use it to play japanese games because it has a region free application.

Soft modding is extremely easy it is confusing trying to install all the ios's cIOS's MIOS's etc

apart from that piece of cake...

How much experience have you had installing chips though?

The Twilight Softmod allows you to install the Homebrew Channel which allows you to run unsigned code.

Prior to the conception of the homebrew channel, you could only run one homebrew at a time, because when you executed the Twilight Hack, it would look for the first boot.dol file it found in the root directory.

Also, I want to mainly play burned games how would I do this with the Twilight Hack

...also its not really mine, I might do it to my friend's wii cause he doesn't play with it that often, only his dad

You don't technically "install" the Twilight Hack. You use it to run the Homebrew Channel installer, which installs as a Channel, right into your Wii System Menu.

You would install the Homebrew Channel onto your Wii, which stays there. Then you would take the Backup Loader and drop it on an SD card. Using the Homebrew Channel, you run the backup loader and insert a burned disc.
