Now that iTrader is installed, we're progressivley moving towards a safer trading enviroment. One of the features I manually wrote out and coded into the installation of iTrader is this Verification feature. I got the idea for it from a different forum that I visit from time to find, and I worked towards duplicating it here. It'll makes it loads easier to find and deal with trusted members on CN.

Please note this is NOT what you have to do to become a senior member, Reffer to THIS topic if you have yet to get that far.

Here's what you have to do,

To become Verified:

• You must have at least 5 positive transactions consisting of around $10 or more(each) completed within CN's cBay. No negatives.
• Your trust rating must be 5 or more! Check your trust rating next to each post.
• You must not have been banned within the past month.
• You must have no ACTIVE warnings/infractions.
• You must be a Senior Member or capable of posting in the B/S/T
• If you meet the above prerequisites, go here, and submit your request.

We strive to achieve a safe and reliable place for our members to exchange goods and money, but we can never guarantee complete safety. We try our best to keep people from getting scammed, but sometimes, things just won't work out that way. Because someone is Verified, doesn't mean they're automatically INSTA-LEGIT 100% never going to scam/rip you off/pull a Chewy. It just helps establish that they probably are someone you can trust with your money or goods compared to another user.

For those that are unverified, It doesn't really mean that they're a bad person or a scammer, It's just that they have yet to establish their trust rating via transactions on this board. Be nice and don't pick on the low guys, everyone has to start somewhere, just be weary and be sure to do some research on them before you buy/sell to them. If it's too good to be true, then it probably is TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.

CN and the Staff are not responsible in any way if you get scammed, and we are not obligated to help you get your money or goods back. If we're around and we feel up to it, we'll try and contribute what we can towards the case, but please be sure to open a thread in the Scam Reports section if this ever happens.
