It's not banned on xbox live.

Dunno the PSU mine works and it's the one with the locks to lock it into the system. It's got that sticking out piece in the middle so yours would need a little empty spot in the middle. I had one without that empty spot and I cut it on my PSU and it worked fine before. But Yeh.

so just wondering, what exactly would I need other then games and controllers to make this work? Haven't had a console since 64 and still not sure I want one for any price other then free but we will see what GF says

You would need a:
power brick
Hard drive to save your games etc.

(if your TV doesn't have HDMI you would need the component cables)

And I can take it without the controller or the HDMI cable, but mod it please.
