can anyone tell me if this shit is real or fake?

I'd be very careful. When you cash it in, If the check bounces (Which is likely, research this company and what they do and where you won it from and such), you're bank account is responsible for the bounced check and you deal with it with your bank. (They will close your account, or contact you or something. I dont know how each bank works.)

Well I honestly always doubt, but without seeing fine print of it all and better detail I can only say that is not a check.

it wouldn't hurt to call that number, but I highly doubt this is real if you had nor prior knowledge of it till before you got it in the mail. I'm sure it's pending you buy something else or something to that effect, maybe timeshare or something.

Also something else, how old are you? That really makes a difference, was it made out to you personally or your parents?

Wow, please read my post:

I had a teacher recently who was in a similar position, he received a check that was worth $5,000. Before he cashed it in he did some research and figured out that it was all a fraud meant to steal the money from his bank account. If I recall correctly, he said when you give in a check you write your bank info or account # or something on the back of the check and then hand it in. The person who wrote the check then receives a copy with the information on it, giving him the chance to fuck around with your money... honestly, I don't understand this myself and don't even know if it's possible, but this is what he told me and he's a pretty credible source... do some research before cashing the check.

You can get the same deals but better hotels from orbitz, cheaptickets and stuff like that..
