Received In The Mail Today

Remember this thread ....? Well I got a letter in the mail from Trilegiant (who runs Buyers Advantage, Complete Home, etc).

They were very sorry to inform me that they noticed I had multiple memberships to their sites. The only reason they could think of that I would have multiple accounts was to take advantage of their free gifts.

Ok, at this point I'm thinking fuck, the next line is going to say you are going to have to send them all in or whatever...

We are extremely disappointed to inform you that we will not be able to allow you to have any more memberships to our site. If see you created more accounts in the future we will be forced to cancel them.

Well damn I can't make any more accounts I'm so disappointed! /sarcasm Anyways, all those people who were afraid of collections or w/e, don't be.

Yep same everything. Originally I did a few with Apt tricks and such but they all came regardless of if the address was the same!

icefisherman: How do you think you got "flagged" for using multiple transactions?

home address and email address? What about the CC # and phone number? I figured we could use a fake phone# and home address/email address are easy to exploit also.

I've been running this through my head trying to decide what exactly did tip them off. It couldn't have been CC or telephone, as I used different ones and never used my real number. I switched some of the emails but left some the same. My conclusion is that the address would be what the flagging was for. While I used the Apt trick and made errors such as "1 S t." and those kind of things, I repeated my correct address on multiple accounts.
