cant be return now... i dont know what to do with it, i think ill just sell it on ebay then.. should i sue UPS? lol

Call UPS and see what they have to say! Say that they Broke an item worth $400. Bad luck! guess it can't be returned

Funny though, the crack is literally exactly the same when I look at mine and compare it to your pic.

take a little piece of wrapping paper and put it over the crack. take it to the store and tell it was a gift. they will believe you because of the wrapping paper and it will also hide the crack. its a win-win.

I wonder if the crack is a comp-mark. I know when bands are passing out CDs for free as a promotion, they usually put a crack in the edge of the CD case so that it cannot be returned. I wonder if microsoft is doing the same thing here.

ups is known for saying that they are not liable becasue it was the packagining companies or senders fault for not wanting better packaging

If you receive packages late in the day (i always receive mine after 7pm) tell ups that the package was thrown at you. I know I've had a couple of packages tossed at me. Or you could "accidentally" drop Office as you hand it over to the door greeter.
