Default Preventing a FF window from being activated/maximized?

Alright, I've got a bot that I'm trying to make silent. I've got it set to enter a URL in the Firefox URL bar while it's minimized. It does that just fine. But as soon as it hits enter and tries to navigate to the page, BOOM - page restored.

Any way to keep the window minimized but usable? Someone in the IRC channel suggested an external program, but I'd really like to keep it to an extension or something like that if possible...
