Hey I was wondering if any one knew of a good username checker for the website I am makeing. We have it so on the registration page it sends the info to a mysql server that takes that info and puts it into a table. I would like a code that looks for the username that they typed in and see if it is taken or not. Thanks for the help, here is a link to the site.

no i dont have one but nice website...just one question, in your logo you are clearly trying to have a varity of games, but why do you have 2 Halo icons out of the 4? jw

I wish i could say but I did not make the banner a friend of mine did. Yeah it looks nice but it took forever to get it on IE. lol

If you are saving the data into a table, why not first check that table to see if someone has that username? or make it a unique index on that field?

That is what I need to know how to do. I am knew to writing in php and dont know any other language then HTML, C, and C++. This is my first website that i used php for. lol
