Default Which Visual Studio Express Edition should I download?

I used vb before and wasn't that good at it and i heard the later versions are harder, but more features. help me out and vote.

I use Visual Studio 2008. Got it off Warez-BB.

Ummm, nevermind. I thought you were asking if you should download Visual Studioa 2005, 2008, etc.

Voted for C# since I am learning that right now. I cna give you an extremely good book as a 24-hour started course for C# in Visual Studio.

So thats 2 people voted on c# and one other that recommended it. and one bs vote on vb from gibson, so i am getting c#.

Nice thread Dan, same boat as you. Been a while since I used VB, but just installed Visual Studio 2008 and wanna try learning again. Gonna send you a PM Slingshot, would be interested in the book. I rather not vote, since its been a while for me.

If your new to programming, I would start out at visual basic, but don't keep using it just because its easy, eventually move up to C++ and C#
