Well ive been using second life and have found some really useful ways to make money with it. I think this is a very good way to make money. Sign up for Secondlife at www.secondlife.com



Camping:
Camping is the easiest way of earning money in second life. All you do is pretty much sit on a bench or chair and they pay you buy the hour or every so many minutes to be there. If your new I would suggest going to Hippie Pay Island and go to the purple Tent and sign up for Anywherecamping.com they pay usually L$2/15min. Why do they pay you for sitting there well its simple. They pay you because when theres more traffic in the area they become more popular and rank up in the search tab so more people come to buy there stuff. Be aware that they sometimes try to check if your idle or a bot by asking you whats 2+2 or if your not a bot click ok ect. Some places dont mind and alot of them do and might ban you from the area or alteast eject you.

Secondlife.com only allows you to have a minimum of 4 I believe on the same ip... So just go to a web proxy or someone else's house and sign up with 4 more accounts, simple as that! Then use them all to camp for you!

Run Multiple Instances of SecondLife And Auto Login:
This is good for camping with more than one account but depending on your pc it may be wise to just have 2 open but if your pc say is quad core you can probably open 4 at a time.
Right click on the secondlife shortcut on your desktop and change the address to the program to this:

"C:\Program Files\SecondLife\Secondlife.exe" -login Username password -multiple

Change Username to your First and Last Name in second life and change password to your second life password. Then you can rename the shortcut to your account so you know which ones which!

Reduce Lag:

1. First, before logging in, click the PREFERENCES button above the QUIT button.

2. A window will come up with several tabs to the left. Click the NETWORK tab.

3. Reduce the Maximum Bandwidth to 300 and reduce the DISK CACHE SIZE to 300. Done with NETWORK.

4. Click the GRAPHICS tab. Reduce the DRAW DISTANCE to 64. Done with GRAPHICS.

5. Click the GRAPHICS DETAIL tab. You will see 4 sliders at the bottom of the window. OBJECT MESH DETAIL, FLEXIBLE MESH DETAIL, TREE MESH DETAIL, AVATAR MESH DETAIL. Drag each slider so it lines up with the \"ig\" in \"High\" from the TERRAIN DETAIL setting. They should be approximately 1/4 from the left. Done with GRAPHICS DETAIL.

6. Click ADV. GRAPHICS tab. Reduce MAX. PARTICLE COUNT to 1024 and OUTFIT COMPOSITE LIMIT to 3. Done with ADV. GRAPHICS.

7. Click AUDIO & VIDEO tab. Uncheck both boxes for STREAMING PREFERENCES. This is optional, though it reduces lag considerably. Streaming music isn\'t as bad bud does cause some lag. If you are dancing or just sitting somewhere then you could check those boxes for video or music. But to have them checked all the time isn\'t necessary. Done with AUDIO & VIDEO.

8. Click the APPLY button on the bottom right of the window and click the OK button.

9. Some other things that are helpful which will keep you from crashing are having the lag meter up when in high lag areas. Go to HELP on the top of your screen. Select LAG METER. The lag meter has 3 round dots. One for CLIENT...one for NETWORK and one for SERVER. They should all be green, but they often fluctuate between red, yellow, and green. When it feels sluggish and any of the dots are red, especially the NETWORK one, stop where you are and wait a few seconds until it\'s green again. Sometime the CLIENT one will stay red, but you should function fine.

10. Another thing to do is every couple of hours, clear you CACHE. In the PREFERENCES window again, click the NETWORK tab and click the CLEAR CACHE button. Then restart Second Life by exiting out and reopening. This will definately help.

note: PREFERENCES is saved on your hard drive, so if you switch comps you'll have to repeat the steps.

Keep from logging out or going AFK:
When you leave the game second life at default will logout when you go AFK but you can change this. While in the game press CTRL + ALT + D and the advanced options tab will appear on the top next to Help click on it and go down to character and over to character tests then unmark Go Away/ AFK When Idle. Now you can camp as long as you like!

How to get paid into Real Money:
Signup with your Secondlife info at slexchange.com then verify your email from them go to second life and search for a slexchange get near it and type the validate code they told you to type on the site to ensure that your that person.
Then right click the terminal and click pay then specify the amount you want to pay to have in your slexchange account. Go back to the site and verify you have your money in it you might have to wait a lil bit it takes some time sometimes. Go to SL Currency Exchange then Sell SSL on the side. Specify how much you want to exchange and here you can tell it how much you want to sell it for but keep in mind L$ 1,000= pretty much $4 USD Im about to exchange L$3,000 I earned last light so thats $12 but if I set it to best price I can get immediately it comes out to be $11.20 about $3.60 per L$1,000. I'll stick with the best price immediately. Click Pace order and now you have real money in your account! Now cick withdraw under your USD ammount and pay either through check or paypal.. Enjoy! It actually came out to be 10.95 after fees but heres proof

My First Time getting money with Second Life

Run Multiple Accounts minus the 3D(for slower PC.)
Go to Official site of METAbolt and download their program. This program is good for if you want to run multiple accounts on one pc without running too much memory. I don't use it I use a different one called second messenger and thought this one looks more user friendly. Run more than one account and camp with multiple Avatars say you get 2/15 mins well with 4 of these babies open you get 8/15 mins still not alot open 8 then its 16/ min. Go to your buddy's house steal his pc and wham open 36 and now your making 32/15 min. It just takes some time. Get A Job Already!
First You need to search for a job click on search on the bottom of the SL Viewer

Next click on classifieds

Now change your query to Employment

Then Search for somthing.. Heres one that looks good:

Never herd of vmtv but their tos is pretty big i would suppose. Its pretty easy my first day I become a Vampire and a Bartender made about L$100-200 a day but now im a Escort, Stripper/Hooker lol. Havnt made money being one yet but I'll see about it and maybe post up how to sell sex in Second Life lol.

Yes the conversion rate is about that but 1USD equals L$250. I just edited with a new tip. It would be cool if someone made a bot with the python code on the second messenger.. But yea Assult? Why arnt you?
