Hey everyone.

A buddy of mine recently stumbled on AdsPlayers.com and had me sign up for it. After looking at all of the info on it, it seems like it may be pretty promising. Despite the "Copyright 2005" at the bottom of their page, they are brand new. My synopsis of basically what you do on AdsPlayers is this: read and/or watch ads and receive "credits." These credits turn into a cash value at the end of the ad campaign for the specific advertisement you received that credit from (the FAQ says this is usually 15 days). With that money, you can cashout to Paypal once you reach $30 (and they start you off with $15 for free). For their description, go here and also go here for their FAQ.

I do not have any proof of payment as of right now. Honestly, I don't think anyone has been paid as of yet because the site is so new. One downside to the site, however, is that you must refer 2 members before you receive any ads to view. They consider you "active" once you do refer those 2 members and allow you to receive the ads that you can earn credits on. You may refer as many people as you like, though, and each referral gets you 3 credits.

I'm not trying to be/sound greedy, but the more people that sign up under me, theoretically the quicker we should have some payment proof from them. Feel free to use which ever link you want though. I'd be happy if I received at least 2 refs so that I'd be active.

I am activated now. I got 3 refs... ~~oddly though they all seem to be from the same person, so I guess 1 person signed up thrice (was it you, rach?). Hopefully that doesn't come back to bite me.~~

After becoming activated, there was 1 ad in my inbox on the site, so I clicked it and it made me read a small paragraph for 5 seconds or so, and then a "confirm" button came up and I clicked that and was credited with 1 credit. So, right now, I have 10 credits which COULD be worth $0.50 each, but we'll have to wait and see.

yeah, i figured it out, it was just the way they display the referrals that threw me off. thanks rach!

Correct. It's a bit of a bummer, but seeing as it takes 30 seconds to sign up, there should be no problem getting 2 refs.
