You get $10 per 1,000 US downloads of a file. Rates are paid differently per country view.

Considering it's all based upon 'views', I'm guessing there is a shot at this being exploited.

Looks scammish. Did a Google and DigitalPoint regarded it as a scam.

Hmm, nevermind. Looked into it a bit more and it seems that although they seem to be infested with technical difficulties, they may be paying.

On the back end it seems rather legit and I read a few things about it being legit on a few forums... Could you please edit the above post to not deter people? =[

Also, I think I may be onto something, but I'm not sure yet.

$10 per thousand downloads is insane

that is 10x the standard rate (based on what megaupload pays and it clearly works for them)

I don't see the need to edit. I posted my finding and you posted yours. Later if I find evidence to suggest my initial analysis was incorrect I will edit my post.

If you submitted your download link to some forums and such probably with adult content this could be a little profitable depending on if they allow it or not or if caught.

I bet it is per download. And if someone is paying $10 per 1k, the file must be infected with something. Example, most link site pay $1 per 1k and they can add more adds on their pages.

IDK seems a little fishy to me.

I tried uploading a txt file, then dl'd it... Worked fine; no changes.

Check if the file still has the same MD5 Hash or whatever.
