Also of interest to some of you, B-U-X.net is back with over 20 ads for free members, and 30 for premium members.

Banner contest hasn't started yet... I was just letting everyone know there was going to be one...

I still have to put it all together... Since it won't be CN exclusive, I will be hosting the contest on my site.

Which means I have to make sure that all these cheaters here can't bot their own banner to win...

My guess is that the contest will start in about a week, I will accept/display banners for a couple weeks, and then allow for voting for a couple more... People will be able to submit banners once they voting starts, but they will be at a disadvantage since people will only be allowed to vote once, and anyone that has already voted will not be able to change their vote.

It all depends on how much time I have on my hands to code up a contest site. I still have some other stuff that I need to finish on the site first...

And, a fresh new site for today:

PTCNation (still in pre-launch)
- clicks: don't know???
- ref clicks: don't know???
- $2 instant pay-out via AlertPay and PayPal;
- sign up pre-launch and get VIP status for 6 months ($50 value);
- although click-count will be zero'd at launch, there is a pre-launch contest where the top 3 clickers will get their pay-out.

Also, during the pre-launch the admin is allowing free '25 click' ads each day... Easy way to get more refs for other sites... But, it does not seem to work, yet...

Finally, please don't sign up as my ref if you plan on exploiting the site. All it will do is get you banned. You are just wasting your time and mine, because I will have to wait for the admin to remove your exploited clicks from my account before I can request a pay-out (because I don't want to get banned).

Warning: some of the ads are NOT workplace/school/public computer friendly...

None that pay...

I recently added this one to my site:

BUXZ (generic looking YourOwnBux v3 site)
- clicks: $0.23 <-- too good to be true!
- ref clicks: don't know (if someone signs up under me I will find out)
- 7 to 10 ads;
- $1.28 pay-out via AlertPay.

At $0.23 per click, you can make the pay-out on the first day... Course, no sign of my pay-out yet, so don't hold your breath...

Warning: I suspect that this is a scam, so please do not use the same login/password combination you use for other sites...

And one last find tonight...

OccupEx (pre-launch)
- clicks: $.01 ($.0125)
- ref clicks: $.005 ($.01)
- $1 pay-out via AlertPay;
- site is pre-launch, so expect clicks to get reset on launch.

What is up with the lack of pre-launch incentives? Tsk, tsk, tsk...

No new sites of interest, so I figured I would post some recent payment proofs...

NetCashBux (proven paying)
- clicks: $.01 ($.0125)
- ref clicks: $.01 ($.0125)
- 5 to 10 ads daily
- active forum (with over 25 pages of payment proof threads)
- $2 pay-out via AlertPay

Payment requested: 21 Sep 2008
Payment received: 24 Sep 2008

Payment requested: 30 Sep 2008 00:09
Payment received: 30 Sep 2008 15:40

- - - - - Warning - - - - -
This site uses multiple anti-cheat measures:
- the 'trap' ad that has caught over 6000 people so far (somebody needs a smarter bot?);
- possible 'invisible' ads that cannot be clicked via mouse, but will catch key-press based bots (don't use the tab key?);
- several people that signed up as my refs and tried the exploits were swiftly removed (don't know if they tried to cash-out or if they were caught by an automated scan?);
- simple-math based captcha after every ad (sux!).

Basically, don't bother signing up if you just want to see if you can cheat using the known exploits. You'd just be wasting your time.

FroGold (still in pre-launch)
- clicks: $.01 ($.011)
- ref clicks: $.005 ($.008)
- $5 pay-out via AlertPay and PayPal;
- sign up pre-launch and get Premium status for 6 months ($30 value).

Also, added the following sites (nothing that stands out though):
AnotherGreatBUX
ElectroTechnologie
FameBux (ref link is broken, use 'agamer' if you wish to be my ref)
FearBux (PayPal)
ProCashClicks (PayPal)
Ptc-Bux
Se7enBux
StableBux (PayPal)
StoryBux

A couple sites that returned from the dead... Both were 'offline' for a couple weeks:

1stbux
- clicks: $.01 ($.0125)
- ref clicks: $.01 ($.0125)
- $5 pay-out via AlertPay and PayPal.

World-Clix
- clicks: $.01 ($.015)
- ref clicks: $.01 ($.0125)
- $5 pay-out via AlertPay only.

Also, added the following sites (nothing that stands out though):
- ClixPlaza
- DataBux
- e-clickz
- FamilyBux
- iWantBux
- MakeEasyMoneyOnline
- PaidtoClickAds
- UltraClix
Visit my site for the stats on these sites: Recent Additons

Other PTC News... The following PTC sites dropped their click rates into the 'fraction of a penny' range...
- DrBux
- BrownBux
- CyanBux
- FuchsiaBux
- GrayBux
- JadeBux
- LimeBux
- MagentaBux
- OliveBux
- PurpleBux
- RoyalBux
- TealBux
- YellowBux
It will now require 10 to 20 ads to get one penny... And, due to the low ad count, that could take several days.

I'm not sure yet. The browser is being sent to a page called 'off', still on the same server/domain? My guess is that the admin found a bug/exploit and turned the site off temporarily to fix it? But it would appear that he did not check to see that there was actually a 'we are offline' page there, so all we get is a blank white page.

What you see is actually a properly formatted HTML page, not an error page/message... Perhaps it is better described as a template that has not been filled out... Although technically not an error, it isn't showing anything useful right now.

I am not calling this one down just yet, but I do think it is suspect that it is 'off' without any status indication.

According to my database it was last working properly on Oct 6. So, it has only been 2 days. I will give it a bit more time before I start officially call it dead.

Ah hah... That is probably the page that should have gone into 'off' instead of the blank page.

In any case, this does indeed confirm that FroGold is dead.

Thanks!
