I'm relatively new to this whole thing and don't know much about bots. I wouldn't mind learning some more about how to make them.

Welcome to CN. In regards to botting, most people code in AHK (Google it) and is a great scripting language to learn to create bots for most sites. I'm not a expert at this field, but just ask around, you'll learn quickly
