Alright I need a site designed for me. It'll be approximately 4 pages and fairly interactive - for this reason I'm hiring someone to do it for me. Need to know how to do forms, send out automatic e-mails and generate image with user created text on them. Ah I dunno..

A friend of mine that said he would do it claimed it would be easy - however I'm tired of waiting for him to do it and am therefore willing to offer to pay someone to design it.

If your interested please post here with some examples of previous work - No template rubbish - something that took atleast some skill. I'll pm you if I'm interested further and we can discuss a price and further details.

Edit: Don't take the word interactive to seriously - I'm meaning more forms and stuff... not flash etc

considering I do this professionally... I would have to charge you a bit more...

Say somewhere between $900 - $1200 dependant upon the level of interactivity.

It should be more between the range of $300 - $650

if you dont want huge interactivity (i think most people think ur wanting flash) I could do it for less.

I use php, which would cover your forms, auto emails (if ur host supports cron jobs) and ur image generation.

I can do all the back-code, the stuff that makes the site work - login forms, secret areas, leader boards, etc.

Im not creative so designing is out, but let me know if you feel a need for dynamic php content and we can work something out.

Settled. $200 includes css/xhtml design, hosting, and coding.

A static site, complete with full graphic design mock-ups (3 separate & unique designs) & full implementation of that design starts at $900 at my firm... and that is a GREAT price.

lol wtf @ $900.

If it's only 4 pages HTML/CSS/PHP, then it's like max $300. $10-50 is quite pathetic in this situation...

Lol, weren't you the one saying you needed to make a site for some company? Are you just trying to get somebody to make you one for cheaper then give it to the company for more?

Alright... I seemed to have reached an agreement with someone for well under the ridiculous prices you guys are offering... ridiculous.. yes I said it. Before coming here I got a professional quote from a couple of companies and they said it would only cost me $300-$400.. and that's with the almost 75% they put on top of the amount they pay for overly expensive labour.

My evidence for this is the price started at $900-$1200 and competition kicked in almost and I see it drop by almost 600%!! So obviously there is a huge profit involved in it if you are able to lower a service that much...

Meh... off to exams.

$300-400 isn't ridiculous.

A professionally made vBulletin design would cost me $900 =/ and they arent that hard to make.

Yeah but I don't need professionally designed.. and mine is just a couple of pages of html and a little bit of PHP. To pay that for 3-4 hours work is insane. Also used the new "Similar Threads" down the bottom and I see mockingbird had people offering to do a site for him for like $5 to even free :s

yea but most of the stuff u find people make you are stolen templates sadly.

I have some friends who design and get paid anywhere from $50-$100 a hour, depending on the job. Sometimes more..
