It's more of the convenience of the software and automated backups then the size of the storage. Skydrive and some other free storage sites you mentioned has a maximum file size, such as Skydrive and 50MB per file. Mozy has been around for two years and have been bought for 76 million dollars. One of the most reputable file backup services that has helped corporations is now offering a service free, and should be taken advantage of.
