I'd get it, chances are that is an older system which makes it moddable, but unfortunately more prone to RROD

Actually they're mostly newer systems. I picked one up when the $299 deal was first posted, and the build date is 5/1/08 and has a Lite-On drive. Seems like there is some chance of a BenQ, but most of them are Lite-Ons.
