Here is how to get a brand new xbox360dvd drive written by Cheater
1. Go to Target and buy an new xbox360

2. When you get home remove your hard drive off of your broken Xbox 360.

3. Open your new 360 EXTREMELY CAREFULLY SO NOTHING RIPS! Not even the sticker!

4. Take the new 360 out of the plastic covering VERY CAREFULLY SO NOTHING RIPS!

5. Remove the hard drive from the new 360 and put it on your broken 360, then put your hard drive on the brand new 360.

6. Put your 360 with the new hard drive on it back in the plastic covering that you took the new 360 out of, and tape it back up so it never looked like you open it.

7. Close the box up and put the tape back on the box.

8. Go to Target the next day and say my son received two Xbox 360's for his birthday and I would like to return one. Make sure someone else returns it not the person who bough it the day before!

9. Go home and enjoy your brand new 360 drive.

Notes: You Must do this at Target because they are the most lenient on there return Policy, Ive personally done this twice, and i've had MANY friends do it with no problems at all. Make sure you don't rip anything on the box or any of the plastic.

You know they can see the ID number of the 360 without opening the box, right? So if they just so happen to check it and it doesn't match up....what now?

that is why the best way to do it is you putting your bad components in the brand new case, so you are returning the same numbers back to them.

Uhh....no. If you look on the back of your 360 and look at the bar code and then look at the box and look at the second bar code on the box you'll notice that they're the same. Unless you peel off that sticker as well you're not going to get past that.

Putting the bad components in the new case solves nothing.

But isn't there something inside the 360 that lets them know if it's been opened or not? When I returned one of mine before they checked to see if I had cracked it open.

you are returning the new case how would the sticker not be on it? as for the seal under the faceplate you just heat it up with a hairdryer, peel it off and put it back on when done.

i used to do this with old school playstations. did it 3 times, then they changed there layout.
