Yeah, it is. Yes, I just answered my own question. Also, I don't understand the point of a +rep on this one, because all you had to do was Google "jailbreak iphone 1.1.3" o_O

one question:
can i just buy an iphone from the apple store and use this method to unlock it?

in other words are the stock iphones from the apple store 1.1.3 firmware or something lower so that i can upgrade?

Your saying like without a contract? The answer is no youll have to buy one on Ebay you can buy a locked one which is what you want so you can unlock it yourself or you could buy an unlocked one so you dont need to do anything but insert your sim!

But the unlock iphones are very expensive I just bought one on Ebay for 500 most of them are higher! When your iphones unlocked you can only use T- Mobile for your service and Cingular/At&T

btw can you have an iphone without a sim card in it and still use internet and all the other crap on it??
