Cold flame. Same with alcohol fires.

See how he moves it around a lot, it still hurts after a while but its just basically warm

As a chemist I would recommend not doing much larger than the 2" x 5" strip as this will cause it to be hotter and probably burn your hand. However you could just make a big bonfire but in that case why not go for break and make one of these to start your fire
