Hey there recently I had some problems with my comp i still do but

now I get no sound in my motherboard it always used to be in ac 97 option

it is now in mobo , and when I look in vista sound thingy it says Digital Output device (SPDIF) high definition audio device

the only new thing is i got a new monitor high definition with built in TV TUner

maybe vista is trying somehow to use this monitor/tv as sound?

help!

its still not over with my pc nightmare but at least for now..?


its very new pc i built it like 6 months ago , and one day when i had loss of power couple of things broke

So the problem is sound? that's all? If it is being plugged into a 3.5' jack that can't be the case as these work 'analog' and don't need to be recognized. You may need to think about buying a sound card (They aren't very expensive)
