I'm having problems with wireless signal. I play MKW Wi-Fi, and sometimes it drops the connection and then I'm like magically first place and I get like +200 ranking, and that's cool, but I'm not making too many friends. Is there any piece of hardware I can get to boost wireless signal? My Wireless-N router is all the way upstairs, and the Wii is stuck downstairs, with barely a signal intact. My budget is almost unlimited, except if I have to buy something ridiculously expensive, and ethernet cables are not possible.

I dont have a wii, if it has a ethernet port on it you can get one o those adapters like the 360 has, made by linksys I think, puts out amazing signal

The Wii doesn't have an ethernet port, but there's an adapter, so do I need like 2 adapters on top of each other?

i have the same one and it sucks so bad and im far from the router(downstairs, and on the othr side of house) and my laptop sometimes can barely reach

get a ethernet cable and the adapter that will be your best bet, and why dosent your wii have wireless???

The problem is I can't directly connect my Wii to my router as it's like 50 feet away and it would look messy as fuck. Maybe a WAP?

well, since my dads an electrician, he just ran a cord thru my wall for my 360, sice the friggen wireless adapters dont work with my 360, as in i bought and returned 3, none worked, and then the cord workd perfect

and my cord runs over 100ft+ thru my wall

if u no some1 who culd do this, i recommend it

I'd have to run the cord through then entire house for it to work. Ugh, could I use like WAPs?

its not the wii wireless card, its the wii online service. it sucks. -_-

I'd suggest trying to get a rnage extender tht just plugs into an electric jack and that takes the signal and rebroadcasts it making your connection better... so basically you jus put it a t a halfway point between router and wii

I searched and I found an ethernet plug that goes directly into the outlet and runs through the power lines. Thanks sooooo much for the suggestion, I fucking love you.

Feel sorry to all those that had to connect directly from their router to whatever gaming console. This is the best and fucking easiest solution ever invented. I love technology.
