Can (possibly) broken dvd-rom

block windows from being able to be installed?




I had to replace my psu and then not much works i cant install windows it gets stuck on disk configuration (i read somewhere) a guy had same problem he changed cd/dvd rom , and it worked fine

since BIOS is reading dvd rom and 2 hdds

please help me since i cant use my pc ;/

hmm, if you're just replacing psu you don't need to reinstall OS

OK so what happened was 1 day i lost power too much goin on , so my psu got fucked I replacted it , they replacted it for free , its 800W

i got it couple days ago but i didnt have water coolant water and some other shit

now i connect everything as it was windows cant start so i was like okay im gonna format and it will be fine

i cant load up vista with cd i get blue error
windows xp freezes
linux installation freezes

so im guessing its the dvd-rom

but i want to make sure before i waste money...
