I want to mod my 360 by getting a modchip

can anyone help me around and help me choose the best one and not too expensive one

You are better off flashing the xbox modchips are not really necessary.

so this option doesen't really work 4 me :/

Also I dont want it to be connected to my pc all the time thats why I rather pay some money to get a modchip

doesn't have to be hooked up to your pc all the time.. you open your 360, hook drive up to pc, do some stuff, close 360, and that's it.

You shouldn't get your xbox modded with a chip anyway, its easier to detect. Also you need to know what drive you have!
Once you know what dvd drive you have then you can find the tutorial on how to mod your xbox. Plus what is your manufacture date?

I do it for cheap if you're interested, I can also get you *cough*games*cough*
PM for prices. It's really not that hard you just have to have the right equipment.

You'd rather buy a solder a modchip than just simply flash your drive? I don't get it. Just read the guides. If you have a semi-new pc, chances are that you already have a double layer dvd burner and a sata chip, and the only thing you'd need is a cable...

I'm actually going to be attempting to flash mine, also. Ordered the sata cable last thursday, just waiting for it to arrive.

Its on the back of the xbox, next to the power plug. you should see your serial number, product id( i think) and your manufacture date. Plus good luck if you do decide to mod your xbox!!!

I've got 1, and its attached to my hard drive

And I'm cheap so I got one off ebay for a couple bucks. I'd rather wait a couple days and keep a few more dollars in my pocket than buy one at a store.

Well, the newer benq drives, some of those cant be modded i think, correct me tho if i am wrong, but i know that i have a newer benq drive and there is a small chance that this one cant be modded but most likely.

You have a chance of getting banned. the only thing is you need to update all the time and not be on during the update and your good. so its not that hard to not get banned.
