This is the mastroskadiag report and I'm having some slight problems with playing this file. It's lagging badly and sometimes it would just pause for a few seconds. I'll give $10 to the first person who gives me a detailed description of what is wrong/what to do and if it fixes this problem.

I see Blu-Ray in there. My computer lags for the HD trailer of 300. You might need to upgrade your box.

Damn, so it's nothing to do with video/audio codecs? The thing is I have LOTS of Blu-ray/HD-DVD files and they all work fine except this one(Final Fantasy), which I just downloaded.

What codec's do you use? I used k-lite mega codec pack. I never had a problem.

Update:

I'm using ffdshow, ac3filter, and haali media splitter. I've tried the CCCP pack that's similar to the one Armman listed also and that didn't work.

I've tried using Zoom Player, Windows Media Player Classic and Standard, and the VLC Player.

maybe its the video file. when u play it does everythin else lags like the stuff in ur desktop. opening a folder etc

Thread closed. I'm an idiot. I just noticed that when I transferred the 6.56 gb file from one HD to another, it didn't fully transfer all of it (for some reason) :/ No wonder the sample .mkv worked perfectly while the main 6+ gb file didn't. And why did the file info say it's 6.56 gb even though it wasn't?

I still don't understand why it would lag badly in VLC player, but it won't play in MPC. --the 6.56gb file

I donated money to the person who I felt helped me the most anyways.
