Yeah, I have one too. 4 GB of ram and a quad-core...this thing is a huge power hog. Takes a 1000 Watt psu just to keep it stable. It frightens me.

You kidding? I got mine running on a 600 watt coolermaster and runs just fine I have a q66 and 2gb of ram 3 hard drives. seems a little weird maybe your psu is broken.

how much did you guys shell out for your computers. Holy crap man. i'm more curious as to where you get the money. I spent about $600 for my whole computer (newegg.com)

Hm actually, the GX2 dun pull that much power. Only 350W on load compared to the old 8800GTS which pulled 250 load with a single gpu. So yeah 600 or prob 500 would support it just fine. Hate to break it to ya but you probably didnt need that 1000W. Unless you plan on doing some crazy shit like SLI or insane overvolting
