.
do you have a website where you can buy computer hardware from? In the US there is newegg.com, is there anything similar for India because otherwise it is impossible to know how much the parts cost over there.

Also do you have a monitor + keyboard + mouse? Because for $300 you can get a quad core pc here if you have the monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

Quad Core ???????? A decent Quad core PC here costs at least about 450 USD...

2. GIGABYTE GA-MA770T-UD3P AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard- $80 USD, or 3745 INR

3. Crucial 2GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500)- $41 USD, or 1920 INR

For the most part I would try to get this stuff first, since it's probably the most important.
I'm sorry but what this guy said would not work at all. AM3 boards do not support DDR2 RAM, only DDR3. If you were to go this route, you would have to find an AM2+ Motherboard. The rig I'm building right now is around $400 altogether, not including peripherals. You could try to go for a AMD Phenom II Tri-Core with a cheap mATX board and about 2 GB of RAM. This would be sufficient enough to run all the Gomez you need while botting ClubBing.

My friend got the same one. He uses it for botting on CB too. The only thing he did was upgrade the 1gb ram to a 2gb ram stick. Overall the 1101Ha has a ridiculous amount of battery life and a solid atom processor and decent amount of ram, that can be upgraded. Hope this helps. There is a lot of good reviews on newegg if you wanna check it out.

K, changed my mind again.... Looking for a cheap Core 2 Quad spec with 4 gig DDR3 RAM...

Please post the complete config, including mobo and the model number.. It would really help me pick the good vs value ones and come to a decision..

Last rig I bought off ebay:

Dell Optiplex

4gb Ram
80gb HDD

Price: $200

I currently run 80 instances without a problem and the computer is super fast.

The cheapest c2q would be a q8200 or q9300. Personally, id go with an amd x4 620 since its $50 cheaper and faster than the q8200. Amd motherboards are also cheaper

You also better get the ram now. it used to cost $40 for a 2x2gb kit, now the cheapest is $85 and the price is still rising

1stStrike, can you like find a good (not necessarily cheap) AMD/Intel CPU (whichever is more powerful) and AMD/Intel Motherboard (which supports DDR3 RAM) ?

My budget can be expended to accommodate a medium priced/performance Processor/Mainboard...

If the AMD & Intel ones you posted above are due to the cheap price reason, please leave that price and recommend one which performs well, and in the medium price category, not the cheapest..

ddr2 vs ddr3 will not matter much in terms of speed really the few things that will bottleneck you are the amount of memory your have whether it be ddr2 or 3, your vid card and your cpu. Really no need to spend the extra money just for ddr3.
