Also, I really like the way GPU's in general are moving forward right now, we should see some great stuff in 2010. But I like Nvidia moving into the future.

Now Ati has very good new cards. But I think Nvidia will rule with
the GeForce GTX 300!

If you are looking for the best of the best, I just read an article in Maximum PC that says ATI is the clear winner at the moment. And at only $380. Sounds like a lot, but for the very best video card you can get, that is a steal. ATI Radeon HD 5870. I think they said best single proc card, but great on power consumption on idle. Looks like a great card. I'm sure NVidia will have an answer soon, but we'll see the comparison after they release their new card.

For the moment, ATI is better than Nvidia.

ATI Pros : - Cheapest price
- Very Good Quality
- Best GPU at the moment
- Now the drivers are stable

ATI Cons : - Sometimes bug with Linux

Nvidia Pros : - Very Good Quality
- Good GPU
- Drivers Very Stable
- Drivers optimized for Linux

Nvidia Cons : - VERY expensive card

Umm when was the last time you used a ATI video card... There drivers are fine even since AMD bought them there software has become just as stable as nvidia (although nvidia has its own software problems that are much worse then ATI's ever were)
