Where are you getting these promo codes from?
The news letter they sent out this morning. One bumped my CPU down by $10 and the other bumped that PSU down by $10.

Damnnn. The promos they send me via email seem to never apply to what I'm buying at the time. =/

Ha ha ha! After a case faux pat (UPS busted one of the fans out), I finally got an RMA today and got my case. So I built it and spent a good 3 hours building it.

Pics:

Pretty LED fans. Runs pretty silently too. Now all I need to do is get the OS on and get some Gomezes loaded.

You're damn right it is. That case is what stopped me from building it sooner. UPS busted out one of the side fans.

This shit is a beast. Silent, cool, runs like heck and all on 4GB of RAM and a Quad Core. The Mobo is expandable up to 16GB too so I'll upgrade it as often as I can.

The limitation you are referring to is only present in a 32 bit operating system. 64-bit does not have this issue. Does not matter if it's Win7, Vista, or XP.

Quote:
The emergence of the 64-bit architecture effectively increases the memory ceiling to 2^64 addresses, equivalent to approximately 17.2 billion gigabytes, 16.8 million terabytes, or 16 exabytes of RAM
Imagine having that much RAM in your computer XD

64-bit operating systems allow you to have ~ten trillion times the amount of ram of a 32-bit operating system (no, I didn't just make that number up).

anyway, it's the difference between 2^32 and 2^64. Plug that in a calculator, it's quite a difference.

so this might be a dumb question. Does anyone have a download link for 64bit windows xp?

Probably not a good idea or against the rules to post that publicly, send me a PM.

Be careful. If it's an OEM version you're going to need an OEM key. I'm pretty sure PiP only does retail.

Yes, you have to have a 64-bit compatible processor.
