i have the explorer guitar the white one that comes with guitar hero 2 and the strummer wont register when i push it down

its really just from wear and tear u probably have some messed up connections or something along those lines, iv never messed around with one of those but im pretty good with electronics so if u wanna bust it open put up some picks i may be able to help

Did you check out youtube.com yet, same thing happened with my Rock Band guitar, I looked for a DIY repair and fixed the problem in just 10 mins, works perfectly now.

i got the same problem with that controller except
my wammy bar doesnt work and when i tried to fix it i ended up screwing up the green button

ummmm, no not really, but i can sell you my guitar hero 3 with the game, guitar is in mint condition, every single button works and the disk works perfectly fine, everything for xbox360....wired guitar--->30$+5$(shipping)

nowadays its probably just cheaper to buy a new xplorer controller on ebay or amazon
