I wouldn't get Phenom. I used AMD for my processor, but I think Intel Quads are way better than AMD's. Besides, you can get a better Intel one for $70 more...

yes, phenom is the joke of the market right now. I'm actually holding off until Intel's nehalem 45nm cores come out.

i spent all my money 2 years ago building this pc. I had it up and running for 3 months or so and Intel came back and whooped AMD's butt. Really ticked me off.

Same.... I wished I used Core 2 Duo instead of Athlon x2. I built this PC 1 year ago. I'm gonna build another 1 in 2 years. Hope they come out with Octo core, so Quad goes cheap

they have an experimental 64 core already. I think they also have something insane with like 500 cores. They keep pushing the hardware, now all we need is the software to actually take advantage of it. Until they become mainstream, doesn't look like many programs will take advantage of multiple cores.

Windows Vienna? Hopefully it'll have the new file system WinFS that they "promised" would be in Vista. Vista has pissed me off to such a degree I'm seriously thinking of switching to apple. Well, maybe an apple laptop.

There was also an announcement which said that the 9800 GT2 and the 9400 GS and GT are coming out soon.

I'm planning on an Iphone. Verizon told me to wait and see what they were going to come out with though. I doubt they match the Iphone. I also heard the Iphone2 will be coming out soon. Soon as I get one, I'm hacking it.

Still got a few months before iphonev2 comes out. (Around May Or June - Don't forget about Googles new mobile phone aswell.)

Google really knows how to optimize, I thought they weren't making a "Gphone" per say, but they were releasing an open source OS for phones?
