Default Wireless Problem for Laptop

I have a problem. My wireless keeps going off. It works for ~10 minutes then it just stops. I am really getting fed up with this. IT here at school can't figure it out. I have had my hard drive re-imaged. The entire computer swapped out and yet it still does this. If anyone had had this problem and knows how to fix it please let me know.

Actually I might be a virus. I was having the same problem today, I installed NOD32 *cough torrent cough* and it found a virus and it started to work again.

well...is windows manging your wireless networks or is some 3rd party software? Make sure they are fighting over control and fucking up your connection. Just use windows.

Seems to be a hardware problem.
Multiple antiviruses or firewalls have also been known to cause a similar problem.

Wouldn't re-imaging/completely changing the entire laptop fix that problem if it were a virus? Also, windows is the only thing running my connection.

Are other wireless networks in range? Assuming you have XP, it freaks out sometimes with multiple networks available.

What is the make and model of your laptop?
