Seagate External Desktop Drives | Seagate

i want to play my "home videos" on my xbox 360
ive got a few problems i have to overcome
1. xbox dont recognize NTFS
2. if i format to Fat32, i can only put files 4GB > x
so
i have to
1. make it to hfs+ (apple to windows format?)
2. hfs+ WORKS with 360
3. you have to have macdrive7 (i already do) installed on your comp. for hfs to work

so
i want to know if i can make a partition of hfs+ of lets say 250 gigs?
and the rest to NTFS for reg. use (pics, songs, etc)

so yeah
help me out bitches

The way ive always split up my hard drives including externals was with gparted. Its by far the easiest way ive been able to do it.

Just burn the iso to a disk and boot from it. It perty straight forward

edit: I just looked and it does have hfs+ support

FREE EASEUS Partition Master Home Edition: Best Partition Manager freeware for Windows 2000/XP/Vista.

create 2 partitions w/that, format 1 to ntfs.

then format the other w/macdrive7

is that what you're talkin about willis?

you can download ubuntu and boot from that. itll allow you to slit and format the disk before the install

i was reading up on that problem, and the problem is that the LiveCD has a faulty driver and that gparted itself is fine. So using gpartrd through ubuntu will work. And the problem only affects pc's with 9500's

360 shud juss accept ntfs
im formatting it as we speak tho.. its going EXTREMELY slow.. ughh.. iono why i got nothing in there..

havnt figured this out guys!
i managed to format it normally, like at factory settings
but now i need to format 250 gigs to HFS+ and 250 gigs to NTFS

anyone got any ideas?
that partition master 3.5 or w/e didnt work
macdrive7 is a HUGE no from now on

1. you have to have it installed for the drive to work
2. you wont be able to format the drive
3. you have to uninstall it, restart your comp. THEN format the hdd for it to work again
4. its gay

that article partitions it to HFS+ in a mac osx

there MUST be a current way to partition my ehd w/o a mac
