Reputation: 9 ![]() | This is something i found a while back. I am in the attic of my house. I used to get a very weak signal that would jump in and out and never last more than 15 minutes. I put one of these things on my computer's antenna and one on the wireless box's antenna. Now my signal is "Very Good." This is unless someone is on the wireless phone. Both use 2.4 GHz frequency and the phone overpowers and interferes with the wireless router. http://www.freeantennas.com/projects/template2/

You copy the picture at he bottom into microsoft word or some other program, then you resize making sure the aspect ratio is still good (make sure that square is still a square not a rectangle). Print it out and glue it to a piece of aluminum foil. Using a glue stick works a lot better than using a tube of glue. Then cut out the slits after it is dry. Fit the tabs on the top piece into the slits on the on the bottom piece and slide the antenna into the slits on the top piece.
