Default PC's suck but...

Sadly I need one. As of right now I am using a mac and as you may know there are no BOTS for the Mac. So I need assistance picking out building a cheap computer. The computer would only need to do the bare minimum (surf the internet, email and of course run bots) Can you guys help???

or Bootcamp or VMWare or Parallels...

i happen to use VMWare (pirated) + Windows XP SP3 (pirated also) on my macbook... better than buying a new comp...

Maybe install Vista or XP on your mac? using Boot Camp ( I think that's what it's called )

Why not use bootcamp or Parallels to run Windows on your Mac?

yeah use bootcamp or parallels to install xp or vista, dont use darWINE its terribly buggy

Actually i might just upgrade my ram and hard drive and try boot camp. I think parallels would be to slow

Try and see if vmware is compatible with mac if so just run XP in a "virtual machine" all you need is a instillation disk for XP or a iso.

RAM is extremely cheap these days, even 2 gigs...

Yup. VMware uses the internet connection from OS X automatically. It runs Windows completely normally.
