Has anyone heard that the Bluray disc might already be outdated soon and they're coming up with something new?

doesn't mean anything. That's probably the initial price. Bluray burners/players were really expensive as well when it first started.

they were like $1,000 to $1,500, not $15,000

im pretty sure the price would go down in like ten years plus i doubt that its meant for residential use (just yet) technology evolves pretty fast
