| Senior Member | I have been paid by roughly 25 of the 400 PTC sites I signed up for. Many of then died or went scam before I could even request a pay-out, others died while I was waiting my 8 to 30 days for pay-out. Of the 25 that have paid out, only these 3 still exist: - Neobux: $50 (see sig); - SmithBux: $15 (ref link); - BuxP: $12 (ref link). Just keep in mind that most PTC sites end up being ponzie schemes (i.e. initial subscribers are paid by newcomer contributions) and are not sustainable, so if you can't request payout in the first month or two, chances are you won't get paid at all. There just isn't enough advertising to keep them afloat at the click/ref rates they are advertising. The only people that stand to make money are those that can get lots of refs, very quickly (refback sites like gptbank, refbacksystem, etc). Those guys get lots of refs quickly and thus can get payout before the site dies. Either that, or you invest money in the hopes that the site was not a scam from the start (some are), and hopefully make back your investment before the site dies. Sites like Neobux are a little different, because I suspect that their 'scam' is the ref rentals. I did a quick study of ref click-rates, and it is my opinion (just speculation, no proof) that 98% of my refs were bot's that clicked just enough for me to break even. My logic was that all of my real refs usually click all ads on days that they click (so it is either 4-7 clicks or none). But the rented refs would click 1 every day, with an occasional 2 per day... Of all the refs rented, only 2% followed the 'click all adds' on days when any ads were clicked that is common with my direct refs. I suspect that those 2% were the only real refs rented, and that the rest were all bots. And, any site that you can exploit probably won't pay for long, if at all. The holes in most PTC scripts are well know, and are widely abused... Sites like Neobux are pretty good at detecting bots and self-referals, and will ban you when you request your payout. Check out their forums for people bitching about supposedly getting banned/zero'd for no apparent reason. The mod's reply is usually just enough info to clarify that they were indeed trying to cheat.
